Why Locals Love Pizzeria Blow Out
Located in the vibrant Milan neighborhood of Giambellino Lorenteggio, Pizzeria Blow Out offers an authentic slice of traditional Italian pizza al trancio that has captivated locals and visitors alike for over three decades. This charming pizzeria stands out not only for its expertly crafted pizzas but also for an inviting ambiance that warmly embraces you with hints of Egyptian-inspired décor, creating a distinct and cozy atmosphere that complements the culinary experience.
The star here is undoubtedly the pizza al trancio—a style characterized by generous square slices with a soft, chewy base that contrasts beautifully with the intensely flavorful toppings. From the moment you bite into their pizza marinara, you’ll be enveloped in a perfect harmony of rich tomato sauce, fragrant garlic, and fresh herbs, resulting in a simplicity so well-balanced it’s easy to see why patrons like Hoda BPour proclaim it the best they've ever tasted. For those craving more, each “piece” offers satisfying portion sizes, enough to satiate even the heartiest appetite without overwhelming you, making this a truly unique and gratifying pizza experience.
Beyond flavor, the pizzeria’s atmosphere adds to its allure—a cozy, unpretentious space that invites guests to relax and enjoy. The friendly owner and nimble service ensure that every visit feels personal and welcoming, reinforcing a sense of community often lost in larger establishments. The price point is remarkably fair, especially considering the high quality and generous portions, a fact echoed by multiple delighted guests.
Getting here is a breeze; hop on Tram 14 and disembark near Via Lorenteggio 163, making it an easy and convenient stop during your Milan explorations. Whether you are a local seeking a dependable pizza spot or a traveler craving an authentic taste of Milanese pizza traditions, Pizzeria Blow Out promises an experience that’s deliciously memorable and richly satisfying.

One of the BEST pizza al trancio I had in Milano. This center was started like 32 years back and I would say it is excellently maintained. Loved the ambience with almost everywhere a piece from Egypt. Would definitely come back here soon. You can get here on public transport too. Get on the Tram 14, and you can reach here on the direction to lorentaggio.

A small place for pizza in the area of Giambelino Lorenteggio, Milano, but with great tastes of popular or not so popular pizzas. Overall quality is great, prices are very reasonable, and service is fast. It's definitely worth a stop by...

The best pizza marinara I had in my life: simple, full of flavour and perfectly balanced. The owner is friendly and the low price and delicious taste has us coming back for more.

The best pizza experience I have ever had. One "piece" is enough to feed a grown man. Don't expect the thin crispy pizza, it is a different experience, unique and absolutely delicious

Greatest pizza ever. Very very big – like size of an ocean full of cheese and ham. Awesome fusion of Italian taste to live. Thank you very much for such heavenly extasy of food. One slice is about ~4 euros and fills you up so you won't feel hunger for the next millennium. Also staff is very friendly, accurate and polite. Taste. Quality. Price.

This was the first thing we ate when we landed in Milan since we were leaving near Via Lorrentegio. The place did not disappoint at all. We had never had a pizza like this before. Loved it so much that we made this our dinner place. Every day for the week, this is where we came to get ourselves a slice of one of their pizza's, even if we were already full !!
